23 horses have been nominated for the Group 3 How Now Stakes, which will take place at Caulfield Racecourse this Saturday September 17, 2011.
Included in the 2011 How Now Stakes nominations is Peter Moody’s Avenue.
Avenue hasn’t finished better than sixth in her previous two runs this horse racing preparation and it appears that this spring carnival will be her last before becoming a broodmare.
The multiple stakes winner won her last race in the autumn, when she claimed victory in the Group 3 RN Irwin Stakes.
Prior to that, the Anabaa mare finished second to Eagle Falls in the Group 1 Oakleigh Plate.
